Laayoune – Polisario’s security forces launched a wave of arrests against the Sahrawis held against their will in Tindouf camps, south-western Algeria, Laayoune’s regional TV reported on Thursday.

The channel quoted a source inside the camps who asked not to be named as saying that the arrests took place at “Smara Camp,” which was besieged since May 18.

The source noted that the Sahrawis’ protests against the destruction of their “anarchic” houses were repressed by Polisario’s forces.

The increasing demonstrations in Tindouf camps call for ousting the leaders of polisario who only care about serving their own interests through the misappropriation of humanitarian aids destined to the population in the camps, the same source added.
